Default Wheel gurus with a dash of class, help me out!!

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a pair of wheels that I really like on the 350z. I'm most likely gonna get an '05 and I would like to get my setup all planned out before i buy the ride. I want to do 19's or possibly 18's, as wide of a tire as I can get without altering the car. Definetly 5 spokes, chrome absolutely but if there is anything that is polished I'll take a look. I like simple and plain, no rivets or anything too busy. I kinda like the factory chrome option but they look a little too cheap. I was originally interested in getting some 19 inch Moda r6's and having them chromed, but I cant find any vendor that sells em. Went to tire rack but it doesn't seem that they have em for sale. I don't know a damn thing about wheels, I dont know what roling the fender is or how to measure and get enough clearance , etc. Too many numbers, all I know is I want a 5 spoke 19 inch setup, pretty plain but definetly nice....preferably chrome but I can always get the chroming done myself. Also, I hate when theres tons of writing on the wheels, I think it ruins the clean look. Thanks guys I really appreciate it, all you knowledgable wheel guys come help me out here.

Well HRE's have spoked models that are clean and come in chrome...i believe all their rims have a chrome lip....Other brands you can consider: iForged, DPE, Maya, Volks, G-Games, ADR, Advan....

Since this would be your first rims, I would suggest you get a good brand that has a good reputation and not get a knock-off cheap brand...your rims will definitely change the look of your Z so you want to choose good rims your first time so you dont waste money.....

But yea choosing your rims can be hard and it is best to do you research first, like you're doing...good luck.....you got pics of the rims you want?......also, choosing tires to mount on your rims is another head scratcher too since theres so many tire brands too...

.........Just my thoughts.....

I like the Volk GT-C's. Not a five spoke though.

The first thing you need to consider is how much you want to spend. Rims go anywhere from ~$600 to $6000 so you might mention how much you are willing to spend. Also there are quite a few wheel galleries avaialble so you may want to view those. And finally you may want to post this (or have it moved) to the "Wheels/Tires, etc" section as you might get more help there.

I was in a similar boat...I wanted 5 spokes and a simple design. Most of the volk and HRE wheels are beautiful but just a little more ornate than I had in mind. I really like the Iforged Aeros without rivets that RodH has on his car. Very classy.

I'm personally a huge fan of the gunmetal G-Games that Rays makes. They look awesome on the Z and aren't overdone IMO.

HRE 845R's / clearcoated centers / polished lip / custom offsets / great customer service...

I know a member here who is running 305 rears, but had to roll the fenders. I'm at 295 rear, no rolling.

Have you checked out the Foose Lusso's?
They look flat-out stunning on a Z.

Any pics of the Foose Lusso's on the Z??? A good looking 5-spoke rim is the SSR GT3 Rims, I plan on getting those. The biggest size is 19".

These would look more at home on an Escalade.

The Gramlight 57 F pro pictured above are more The Zs style
