I was at the autocross at UMB Pavilion for awhile yesterday and saw your car. It looked pretty impressive in person. The stripes add a certain flair and are very distinctive.

My first impression was Cobra or Shelby but I think you break the one stripe into two. One wider 8" to 12" next to a narrower 2" to 4" stripe. Regardless I really like the white on blue. Thumbs up on trying something I haven't seen yet on a Z.

On the chrome silver I could only think that black may look alright, possibly. A dark red may work too?

i think if you have a silver z and want a stripe, a slightly darker silver stripe would probably look the best.

like if you have a chrome silver, get a silver stone shade stripe. of course, just my opinion.

or you can get a slightly lighter silver color stripe if you have the silverstone.

This link is in the first post, there's a gallery of all the photos from that day.
http://www.solo2.org/gallery/albums/7.aspx

The front was a pain, and needs to be redone, I laid the vinyl over the badge which made it flex a bit, so it is not perfect with the hood as it's a little thinner. I think I'll try to go back and remove the front badge (need to see what is involved) and then apply the vinyl, let the outer edges dry then push down the section for the badge, make it stretch out there, then reapply the badge.

The read I had to do in a few pieces. Had it been a narrower stripe, 12" perhaps, I could have probably done the license place section down to the bottom of the car in once peice.
