I'm impressed, i'm not a big fan of the stripes but it looks good on that roadster from that particular angle and setting.

btw: what's the gold z in the background? is that a TOP SECRET Z?

 

Unless u got Nismo PARTS on your Z, leave the stripes alone (cuz you'll look like a poser)....otherwise, go for it.

I'm not a big fan of the Nismo graphics. Just looks a little ticky-tacky.

Don't get the nismo stripes. But then again, I'm not a sticker fan and I view those stripes as cheesy stickers. And they don't even look good. What looks good(or looked good before they put the stripes on) in that picture is the roadster, not the stripes. Don't confuse your feelings when looking at that picture.

Disclaimer: This is my own personal taste and not intended to insult people that like stickers/stripes/whatever.

First, the original poster wanted opinions so I'm guessing he will listen to all the replies.

Second, the original poster wanted to know what we all think. He didn't want answers like yours, the tired old "Do it if you like it." comment.

It's very clear in his short post and you missed both points oddly enough.

 

The question is "to STRIPE or not to stripe?" so NO I did not miss that.. and my answer to that is posted above is to do it if he likes it, whether it's tired or old I don't care, it's a valid answer. I also added my personal opinion about it.

You started your post by telling the OP to not listen to any of us. Then you ironically gave him your opinion. It looked like you were dismissing all our opinions and then gave your own, so I had to reply back.

I would pass on it. Maybe if the car was Nismo everything and you were taking it to shows, but otherwise its a little 1998 to me. I like the little Nismo on the front of the hood though, but that's about it.

For the record I also hate people who put the ///M flag across the hood of their BMW's

We got bored one night...it was an interesting project. It had a V-12 AMG, turbo, NOS, AWD, and ///M logo on the back also.

 

I would be embarrassed to pick up a girl with the Nismo stripes on my car....... if you have another ride, go for it, if not then keep the paint nice and clean..........no decals
