I know that if you get a regular bra, the paint under it will age differently than the rest of the car. Is the same true of these clear bras I keep hearing about?

I'm thinking about getting my front bumper and fenders painted and I want to protect the hell out of it.

i got the clearbra made by llumar. very happy with it. got it for the front bumper and v1 lip. i have not noticed any differences with the clearbra'd part and un-clearbra's areas.
