Hey guys was curious if anyone had actually received their clear/milky strips yet? Ares PM box is full right now but I know he is still around. Anyhow does anyone have pictures with them installed and more importantly have any of them actually surfaced? Gotta tell you I am a little bit pissed off.

Yuichi on the board has them installed on his Z... I'll try to find out if he's got any pics of them. They look pretty cool (the milky strips)

 

full? hmm Ill fix that. as for the strips, 4 strips are out in the world, yuichi has 1 set, kshep another, and 2 sets are to a guy in germany. I am trying to get more info on when the rest will be here.

I too am quite miffed that this has taken this long, Id like to just get all this taken care of; the constant nagging that I have to do is getting old.

 

I've got a set of the clear reflector strips, but I'm on the fence on whether to clear the headlight assembly completely or not. Kinda waiting to see what Yuichi's done with his set first. His Z is DB is believe, so getting rid of all the orange will look somewhat different than on my SS....

 

Ares strips are sweeeet dude... whats the problem with yours??

The orange strip in the headlight assembly is a reflector, which can be removed altogether, or replaced by another "clear" or "milky" colored reflector. Unfortunately, Ares supplier has run into production snaffus.

This pic shows the orange reflector, as well as RASE turn signal LED's and his Bright Star driving light LED. The dome light LED's are over the top cool.

 

yuichi actually did the headlight mod at my house and i have pics. i'll post if yuichi gives me the ok.

but here is what an ss looks like with no reflector at all.

 

Oh as a note, Ares isn't at fault at this. It is on his manufacturers side. Ares I'll try to send a PM again about some other stuff.

MGL I think people are dieing, I wanted to get yuichi a few other items before he posted pics so I asked him to hold off, but thats ok Ive been swamped with alot of projects, post em up. Id tell him but I think he deleted me off his AIM again

Yes the clear strips look awesome they match my clear sidemarkers on my daytona blue nicely.

I have been holding off putting clear sidemarkers because of the amber strip but now it looks SWEEET!!

 

Did you get the "clear reflector" or the "milky reflector".

Awesome product, if I ever consider re-opening my headlights, I would get them in a heartbeat.
