I am about 55 SE of Raleigh. Dealer is Kinston Nissan. His name is jimmy Mitchell. Tell him you saw the spoiler on Performances web site for 300 and he will match it.

I didn't realize the US spec spoiler would have larger gaps than the Japan one. Can you get a close-up of the tips?
btw, if installed properly there is no "rub issue" on the original kit.

Nice. I like the look of the "old" ones, where the tips actually touched the car. But they rub like crazy and chip the paint. Your car looks great!
I have had the full Nismo (not replica) kit on my 350 for one year. Perfectly spaced with about an 1/8 of an inch between spoiler and body. No "rub like crazy" and no chipped paint.
I did use the clear spacers in between the tips and the body wich leaves about 1/32 gap between the spacer and the wing tip.

but...still looks good.
The real Nismo spoiler comes to within 1/8 of an inch of the body.

Thanks, Kitkos, for the definitive explaination of the authentic JDM Nismo rear wing. Sounds like nock-offs will cause you grief. So if you want to protect your paint, buy either the real JDM or real US Nismo wing.

nope...not really. i have a full replica kit...installed by someone who has installed authentic ones as well. he said the quality of mine was much better than a real one. he had to do less prep work and the fittment was better on mine. i have no rubbing issues at all....never have either.

if it comes to within 1/8 of an inch....why is his up so high? poor quality? i don't get it.

The JDM wing is about an 1/8 of an inch from the body.
The US version is about 2 inches.. I can't recall the exact measurement.

i was working with a company in canada (that i would never do business with again). i totally forget the name of the place. a lot of the people on this forum got the spoiler from a group buy i set up ages ago. the company i was working with was a reseller of another company...they tried to screw me over (and the people on this forum) so i went directly to the manufacturer. i was so fed up with dealing with them and their lack of organization....that they ended up sending me a kit for my grief.

i wish it was carbon fiber though!!! fiberglass can be a pain.
