It wasn't cheap. Tough part was getting a monitor thin enough to let me recess it flush with the visor.

The car has a very classy look to it now. The interior is now as good if not better than many of the more expensive cars out there. I'll pass on your offer to sell me your fuzzy dice and tassels but thanks for the suggestion.

The CF would look really good if that's your theme. Suede seats though is probably not a good idea. Not very good in the wear dept. Post some pics if you decide to go the CF route.

Not sure what Alcantara is? I installed suede leather. Also have it in rear cargo area. As far as cost to do door panels I'm not sure.

I'm pretty sure Alcantara is a mix between suede and denim. It strengthens the fabric against use. Audi S4s and other cars that have them on their seats use Alcantara over suede. I believe they're a little more resistant to getting dirty, too.

Where did you buy your suede from? Thanks in advance.

Bought it through the shop doing the work on my car. Not sure where they purchased it from.

Hey Lonnie, I stopped by and talked to Jim today and took a peek at your car. I really like some of the interior changes -- in particular the doors. He also said you'd managed to track down leather that actually matches the burnt orange... is that true?

Bet the car was a bit of a mess. He's suppose to be repainting most of the console parts. Glad you liked it. Here's where I'm at on the leather: Paid for and waiting on shipping date. Hope to get it next week. It's been quite a challenge trying to find it as I'm sure Jim told you.

He had the EDFC controller flushed in and that was unpainted, but little else was taken apart at the time. I didn't look that close, but was something wrong with the paint?

Had problems with cracking around nav compartment and some dust spec issues. He is scheduled to repaint most of the interior console pieces. How did the EDFC install look?

It was only primered around where the EDFC was put in. It's not 100% flush... I think they ran out of room underneath the console. It sticks out about half an inch or so, but they fiberglassed it so that there's curves and whatnot. It looks good.

How's the quality of the picture from the NAV-TV conversion?
