Overlay fitment issue

I just installed the Blue Batmobile gauge pod Lower Overlay yesterday; but there is some fitment issue. May be my bad installation. Is it only me have this problem or they should looks like this?
Can I peel them out, trim it little bit and reinstall it? Thanks

in that case i have to take a pic of my furthest left one, prob is my camera is being fixed, because i have the same prob on one.
