Default Lip kits with stock 17's?

I haven't seen a lot of pictures of body kits with stock wheels, and if you see the stock wheels, they are usually the 18's. I'm thinking about something simple, like a Veilside V1 front lip and leaving the mudguards, or maybe a Kaminari front lip and GReddy side skirts. Any opinions on how this would look with the stock 17's?

Thanks a lot. I really like the Veilside lip, even with everything else stock. Very clean.

IMO - you should save up for some wheels first. New rims really make a huge visual impact - much more so than a lip kit. I know wheels cost a lot more than a lip - but after you spent $400 on a lip, you're that much farther away from getting new wheels.

Of course, if your not planning on getting any wheels - the veilside lip looks good with 17's.

Hah exactly what my friend told me and I whole heartly agree.

I put the lip on first because the Z never seemed quite right without a more aggressive front lip. The front of the car just looks so blunt and goofy without it so I HAD to give in...

of course the wheels are coming in a couple months!

skirts were just a local seller's bargain.

titanjc - No problem..you'll love your lip if you decide to get it. I believe "Dave79" is running a silverstone with just a Veilside front lip on exterior as well.

normally I would agree wheels would be the 1st thing...but those mods really add a more subtle look...ya know different without being over the top...

I agree with you. The front of the Z is it's worst looking part. Even if you don't do anything else to the car - a subtle front lip helps out the look a ton.
