before your motors went out on these windows did you by chance hear any noises leading up to it. my driver side is starting to make a strange noise every once in a while.

i hear a "cluck" every time the window reaches the bottom or top... i used to hear a screeching/squeek a few months ago all the time, almost like there was sand stuck in there

P.S.

Something very weird happened today.. i pulled up on the switch so the passenger side window rolls up, it went the halfway, and started comig back down??? wtf?

i tried to get it to do it again, but it didn't

My driver side window is completely dead. The passenger will roll all the way up in automatic mode then roll down 1/2 way. Just got them fixed at no charge.

your right it is only for the reset, but the thing is i'm 99.9% sure that when the tech guy does the tsb when the window is stuck, it will not work either way, from then they know its the motor, thus replacing the motor.

The noises are exactly what i had too, about 2 weeks before the window locked up, i heard the motor starting to make a "straining" type of sound. It sounded like it was just TRYING really hard.

If you have the this type of sound, it will lock up on you.

HOpe this helps guyus
