LED Taillights..
Now THAT is a very unique and useful idea... putting the LEDs on spring-loaded arms. Bunch them up to get them in the hole, once in, they spring back out and spread the light. Someone should get a raise for that idea...
I installed the autolumination 15-led rear brake lights. They seem to be built well and overall I like them. The only negative aspect is, that the difference between low output (ie. with headlights on) and high output with the brakes on is not as pronounced as before.
However, with the third brake light I am not too concerned.

those do look pretty promising. this is their website, no prices only a flash intro right now but it has a e-mail link

The spider lights look neat but I'm not sure they address the real problem with the Z tail lights, which is that the bulb is positioned to point up. Maybe if you could get two or three of the arms to stay up in the air the would direct the light in the right direction.

I ordered the red and I'm glad I did. I also ordered white LED's for the parking lights and when I pointed them inside the brake housing they made the tail light look a little more orange.
I did order them from the website, they took a while (16 days) as the guy ships US Mail.

gonna be honest, that spiderlight thing is freakin genious, yeah some applications might not be perfect, but over all, wow.even facing up, the light would probably refract. it depends how good of LEDs they use and the overall construction, also bet itll cost an arm and a leg, 200$ a bulb wouldnt suprise me if they went all out, but thats awesome.

So with those spider lights, they could theoretically go anywhere that has a socket? Could I use these in my taillights?
