Hey Slick-
Have an experienced installer put it on BEFORE you start accumulating chips. Pay a little bit extra and cover the door sills, windshield frame, and windshield header(a normal install covers the front bumper, 1st foot or so of the hood/fenders, and the backs of the mirrors). The material is relatively cheap- the labor was not. Try to negotiate price: I had bids from $450-1,000.

Good Luck,

Brucekgt

you should be able to get it for around $500. I recommend using 3m's clear bra and get it installed by one of their dealers. You can search their website to find one near you

I have a full kit never installed I'd sell for cheap if interested. PM me if you like. I procrastinated....and ultimately ended up with enough little chips I figured it didn't matter any more! You'd just need to find yourself a quality installer nearby.

i have llumar on my bumper and lip only. i am very satisfied with it. but as stated above, its more important that you get an installer that knows what they are doing.

(you can also find out more about clear bras in the detailing section of the forums.)
