My Z is approximately 1 1/2 years old with less then 10,000 miles on it. As I did the Zaino stuff yesterday I noticed that the middle of the hood and left side front bumper were very rough. Despite more then one application of the Zaino products that part of the car continued to feel like raw, rough metal, almost as if the clear coat had disappeared.

The car is stored winters, and being from Wisconsin not subject to intense heat.

My questions are has anyone else experienced this problem and how have they resolved it.

Also, is this what you all refer to as "Orange Peel."

 

orange peel refers to when your paint looks like the skin of on orange when you look at it.
