My car was backed up into late friday night about 2 weeks ago, and my car needs a new front bumper and hood. Instead of paying for another oem bumper and paint i decided i want to get the jdm nismo front bumper but i have no idea where i can find it. So im wondering if any of you all have experience with the vis knockoff? Is it a quality bumper or is it junk? Does it have fitment issue's?

 

With any american made fiberglass replica you are going to have to do some fitment/prep work. From reading the forums, I learned that none will be a perfect fit. The main thing here is finding a good body shop who knows what they are doing. I ordered a kit for my friend and the front was off by over an inch and the shop made it look perfect. Getting the JDM NISMO piece is not worth it IMHO since it cost so much more and the fiberglass is not much better. Although it may fit better, but any good shop can make a replica fit good.
