I likem alot and think that they are badass. BUT.. I had sills excactly like these on my maxima. Chrome/high polish, and stuck on top of the existing side sill.. i know yours aren't chrome. And honestly after about 3-4 months they were scratched to $hit and looked nothing like the day i put them on.

They are cool though and i definatly want a pair.. just not the rear strut piece.

Brushed only w/ other lighting options! Too high a price to not have it the way you want it. :-(

The Amber Lighting are a perfect match to my dash, thank you for taking ppl's suggestion and offering the color we asked for. Blue is just too common and does not have that classy effect in my opinion, keep up the good work. I am glad that you guys are actually willing to take a step to make some parts for the G and the Z.

after reading the thread, I agree, that finish will scratch easily, any chance you'll offer a brushed finish?

I do not want the rear strut but I do want the side sills. $330 is way too much however.

I really don't think changing the LED color would be hard to do would it? I would either want the amber or something close to Brickyard.

One more here for brushed. Since the silver part is actually polished ss it will hold up longer than something like chromed plastic. however its location in the car makes it prone to scratches and when you get just one scratch in a polished piece of metal, it stands out like a whiteboy at a Public Enemy concert.

Unlimited tuning does not produce the item , they just distribute it, so unless the manufacturer of this piece is going to offer brushed alluminum then we wont get it.

However witht the ingenuity on this board , it would be a liklyhood that someone could figure out a good way to abrade the chrome finish till it took on one close to that of brushed aluminum.
I think it would be relatively easy to do this by taking a belt sander and using fine grit sandpaper. Run the thing paralell to the length of it and presto Brushed aluminum.
Wouldnt want to spend $330 if I had this in mind though. It would suck to ruin a set of these with a belt sander!!

Great news, the sills will be offered in a 2pc. set for the doors only and a single piece for the rear sill.
The finish will be high polished and in amber color to complement the interior.
Pricing and availability will follow.

Thanks.

They're expensive, but they'd definetly be something I would consider if they were brushed aluminum. So yea... another vote for brushed.

Maybe they could be painted??? They might look good in black or the color of the car. Any opinions on this?
