Wonder how will the center clear section looks like after installed on a Z

Does anyone know where to find the wire to tap into so these light up when the door is open?

I'm thinking about them because the Z just seems "cheap" without some kind of lower floor lighting but I would have preferred the brushed aluminum as well so it looks like it came from the factory similar to a Lexus SC430.

Hook it up to your Dome light , so when the door opens they light up

 

 

That's what I would like to do but does anyone know where to find the dome light wires under the dashboard that are controlled by opening the doors. If anyone has done this location and color of wires or any other type of description would be very helpful.

Just ordered mine today, and UT claims that wiring instructions will be included. Maybe they already figured out where to tap the power. Will post pics when installed.

According to the instructions I looked at last night, the power wire goes to any power source. The door switch is a ground switch for the dome light, so UT had the ground hooked up to the door switch. Great idea. I will try installation this weekend if I have time and post pics.

 

Hmm... same price as the GB no? If you could do $210 for all three....

The Polished LED Sill plates we are offering requires the factory OEM aluminum sill plates.
The LED plates overlay the factory aluminum plates therefore you MUST have the factory OEM aluminum sill plates.
