paint the cf one but leave some exposed....you can think of a cool design (meaning the part to leave exposed)

Same here.... On CS is looks very much like the NISMO show car until you get up close and see the CF weave. I've had this config for about a year, and still get compliments every day....

The product is first rate, however, as it IS CF, it will be very prone to chips and spider cracks, much more than the urathane OEM bumper cover. I put mine on for shows only. I also got a Colgan bra and modified it to fit over the Nismo form. PM me for details on that one.....

i have the CF nismo replica kit also, uninstalled though. i tried to test fit one of the sideskirts the other day and it wasn't a great fit at all, it will need some body shop work to fit to my liking. i haven't tried the front bumper yet but i believe that it will fit fine (crossing my fingers). i am also going to have the bumper painted minus the lip. i will have the front emblem groove filled and i will install my VARIS CF air duct into the bumper.

roark: what brand kit did you buy, carbon creations, C-wings or some other brand? i have the c-wings. how did yours fit? how much did you pay to have the kit painted and installed? i am looking for show quality and fit so i am very picky!

Mine is from VIS Racing. Fitment is excellent. I took a day to drill holes, align and trim. I painted the side skirts myself, but had a top-rate paint shop do the bumper cover.

The trim work was minimal - some spots along the top of the sidskirts so that it lay flat against the quarterpanels, a bit of the bumpercover where it fits into clips below the headlight assemblies, etc. Most of the work was measuring and drilling all of the mounting holes.
