That is a good thread seedy, I really wanted to get a spoiler painted db for around $250, and i would install it myself. I have been wanting one for awhile now but I just want to get all the facts before I decide to do it.

I added the US version to mine and had the body shop place rubber grommets in the two holes that would have been exposed. With the wing on only about 1/3 of the grommets head shows and you wouldn't even know it was a filler if it wasn't pointed out. The only trouble I ran into was a lot of extra painting because of what came off of the hatch when the stock spoiler was removed. All told I spent about 600 on paint and installation. Will post pics if you'd like.

one other question, how much paint do you think is required to paint the spoiler?

yeah, the paint still hasnt set in most cases when they come out of the factory, so when the OEM spoiler came off so did some hatch paint. Paint for the new spoiler was 250, but I did it at a Nissan body shop so you could prolly find better prices elsewhere.
