it was awful..I came home and started the coversation out like this...

ME:"I'm not mad but I want to talk to you about your driving habits"

HER: "I know you think I drive to fast"

ME: "You do drive to fast, and whether that was the cause of this or not, every other week you tell me that someone is pulling in front of you or is driving you off the road...that just doesn't cut it in this car"

HER: "I hate driving your car, everytime I get in it, I'm afraid that I'm going to do exactly what happened"

ME: "Well, you're calling XS Customs tomorrow and you're going to drive it there and drop the sideskirt off to fix and paint"

HER: "Fine"

ME: "I'm not mad and I'm glad you're ok...but I love this car almost as much as I love you"

I was trying to make light of the situation, but I don't think she found it funny....

Oh well, sideskirt gets dropped off tomorrow along with my front bumber to both get resprayed...then I'm installing a clearbra, i hate rock chips!

So let me get this straight. She scratched the car because of her driving habits and you discussed this with her. As part of the discussion you are asking her to drive the car AGAIN to the body shop? Like ares said, you just may end up with bookends on the next voyage.
