Oh damn! You have the HUD I want. How do you like it? Is it accurate?

Nice seats by the way, I'm not digging the seat pads on the regular seta belts though. I had those seat belt pads also then just got pissed off since it didn't let the belt completely retract.

Badass. How are the belts mounted on the back?

Bats: harness is attached to my roll bar.. its a custom 5 point, with harness loop that goes horizontal behind both the driver and passenger seats.

ReavTek: the nismo seat pads arent that bad since it prevents my seat belts from falling behind the seat .. there is very little room between the door and Sparco (i have the evo2. the evo 1 is ok) so i like it..

imalazeeass: Seat install was a biatch. we had to custom make the rails and side mounts since we wanted to lower the seat to allow for taller drivers with helmets.. i actually sit about 2.5 inches lower than stock seat... (looking over the dash is a bit trickier.. but i can still raise it up a little bit)

the HUD is very accurate... for SPEED.. but since we are a CAN ecu system. there is no one TACH output from the ECU and it wont work off of one injector impluse signal.. so i have purchased the Greddy RPM harness for their Emanage in hopes that it will provide a 0-4v signal that the Defi HUD needs to operate for RPM...

but i have Oil temp, Fuel pressure, and Speed displayed.. and you can get the option of just adding sensors (EGT, Oil Press, Water Temp) to have them also displayed on the HUD....

i bought my Defi from Adam at Z1auto.com

just doing a search for seat lowering and saw this and was wondering if there any details as to templates or anything for these lower seat rails. I'm 6'7" and really need about 2.5" lower in the seat since now I have a bad disk in my back and will probably be forced to sell my Z soon if I can't get the seat lowered. I'd be interested in buying a set of those rails too if it was possible to make another set. Any help is MUCH appreciated as I've been searching for months in my area with nobody willing or able to help fab something to lower my seat.
