Default Adding only side skirts and a rear bumper?

Has anyone ever added only side skirts and a new rear bumper and kept the front the same?

I got rear ended, so I will have to replace the rear anyway, and I really like the greddy side skirts, but I don't have the money for the front right now. I was planning on going with the vertex rear bumper.

Should I just hold off for a whole body kit, or get the rear and the sides now while I can probably get a good deal because the insurance company will pick up some of the cost (paint, install, most of the cost of the rear bumper)?

if it were me i would get the insurance company to pay for as much of it as you can, i've been given a check for repairs when someone backed into me, i just got quotes for the damage and they took the average and wrote me a check, then it's up to you what you do with it

Honestly, TO ME, the front of the Z is "offroad" enough as it is. To put emphasis on the sides and rear would make the front look ridiculous.

You might be able to get away with having a front lip and nothing else done, but to do the opposite, I don't know bout THAT!

Wait till you can get the front done too.

I agree with 350ZephyR . . . I think the front end needs more help than the sides. Get you're back end A-OK and go with a front lip. I definetely feel like the Z would look odd with sideskirts and a stock front lip. But then again, it is ALL just a matter of taste.

Well now I'm strongly leaning toward the whole INGS replia kit from hopupracing.

It just depends on how much $$$ the insurance company is going to dish out.

Be wary of those characters . . . I have called them several times and 2 of 3 times they said they could not sell me the parts for the price they list on their web site. And, a buddy of mine ordered some body kit parts that were supposedly in stock and it took 14 weeks for him to get them.

Seems like a fly-by-night operation.

I agree with Lance & 350ZephyR. I replaced only the front bumper with a veilside V3. Car looks much much nicer now. Not sure if I'm gonna do skirts or rear, I kind of like the way it looks now.
