Glass by PPG - $250 installed. Its said to be a bit thicker than Japanese glass and less prone to cracking. Its a USA product.
The japanese glass is real thin around the edges, and when a rock hits there, crack city.
I worked a deal with the shop - new windshield and tint all around for $400. And if I bring my BMW in, they'll give me another price break.
Tinting is cheapest in the winter because not many people do it then. More of a summer impulse than a winter plan.
