I have heard that the stock headlights are about 20 pounds each

20lbs? lol thats alot. Id bet HID does add maybe 4-5, 20 for both might be beleivable.

the HIDs (ballast and bulb) adds at the most 2lbs, if that.

i'ved taken my headlights out cause i installed a HID on it and i dont think i weighs more than 7lbs each.. try and ask your informant which is heavier 10lbs concrete or a 10lbs cotton.
