Ok.. I was thinking of shaving all the emblems off my super-black Z but I started to think it'd look too.. well, boring.. lol But these emblems look to be exactly what I'm lookin for. How do the general public get a hold of these suckers? Also, any pics on a super-black Z?

Thanx
Joe

not paint. but they were "electro-plated". got them done professionally. if you use paint they'll eventually chip and not have the black pearl/chrome look to em.

sorry no pics of them on a sb, mines a ss.
although they'd probably even look better on sb.

Could you do just the Z on the aluminum sill plates. I think that would look good.

i had to mail my stock emblems to this place in torrence. it took them a week to do it and then they just mailed it back. cost was 100 + 10shipping. not sure of the exact process involved with electroplating, but this place specializes in make those gold emblems and is now making black pearl emblems. i'll have to find the reciept to get tel # and address. i'll post that info once i find it.

well, i guess it is a little more than double the cost of stock emblems... but still for that price, those look really classy. i think it is reasonable. also the fact that very few z's are running around with them.

mgl, so you sent them the emblems you removed from your car and they put new adhesive? or did you buy new emblems and mailed those to them?
