Seibon VT CF hood, needs work
SOLD
In attempt to install some aerocatch hood latches I cut into my hood only to find out, I didnt align my hood latches right. I take alot of pride in my car and I try to do everything the best of my ability. Sometimes I dont always get things right and I make mistakes. Im not gunna lie, my pride was hurt when I saw the damage I had done.
Im selling my 06 Seibon VT CF hood for 250 plus shipping w/ Greyhound
Im not a body shop guy (obviously) but im sure the damage can be repaired and a beautiful hood can come out of this. If someone wanted to repaint it and fix it, It would be a good deal, since I paid 650 for it new. The hood fits perfectly and other than the holes, its well taken care of. My car only saw sunlight for 3 months last year because she was locked away in storage.
I understand that its going to take work to fix it, but that doesnt mean its worthless. Thanx for viewing.

I have these hood pins, I think you gave up wayyyy to early. The are lined up pretty close. Why not just bend the metal rods a little, or remove and move them. You can make it work, give it another shot! Honestly its not that bad

Lol me again. I would be interested if you end up not finding a buyer. I am not interested at that price however I am always looking for a deal and projects for fun. I would want to cover those holes up and paint the entire thing. I have been looking for a stock carbon fiber one, but everyone seems have those fast and the furious vented hoods If you end not getting what you want and you wanna come down on the price alot Ill come get it. (NO SHIPPING

thanks man.
I was also considering trading for cash+test pipes, but I already found me a set. I think for ~150 paint+260 would come out 410, which is way cheaper than 650 for a new one. If you can paint/repair it yourself its always better and saves you cash

Would this fit a 07 HR? I know they make some that will but is it the same model hood for all yrs...I am in little rock and interested in a little project for it. How bad is the damage, can we arrange a meet in person? I got the cash if it can be repaired...
