Hey everyone,

Looking to swap my hood for the later model style of the 2007/2008. Have always liked the later model Z's but bought an 04.

Pikes Peak White only.

If anyone is interested in a swap let me know. Mine is in great shape, pics will prove that, never any damage, seams are beautiful in their alignment with fenders and bumper cover, just a few tiny nicks up front from normal wear of kicked up rocks hitting the oh so awesome paint of our beloved Z's.

PM me if you want to trade pictures and explore this, and personally, owning the Z is new to me, so I've never done anything like this, but I've read it's a very simple bolt on job.

Thanks for any leads anyone has as well, I'm sure I can find a hood at some point but will probably need help in locating it. Your help much appreciated!

Unfortunately you will most likely have to buy a hood and resell your old one. HR engine wont fit under the DE hood so I doubt anyone will trade. Just trying to help. Goodluck tho!

OP where are you located? This might be an easier transaction in your regional marketplace.

Thanks Winger, and very true advice. I thought the same but I found a guy in a forum that posted the same offer, not expecting to find a trade, and sure enough...there was someone wanting to do it and they traded, both were happy.

Waizz, good suggestion, I'll look into the regional marketplace and see if there's an opportunity there. Thanks for the input.
