Default Clear Bra (Vendors Welcome)

Just bought an aftermarket front bumper which is at the body shop being prepped. Would like to pick up a clear bra so I don't have to deal with the cheap *** Nissan paint and rock chips. $ is ready if anyone has anything. Send me a PM with any options. Thanks!!

Hey man, I bought my z with 15k miles on it and ten of which had a clear bra on, I had the bra removed by a body shop after i purchased the car, and it ruined the paint.... just my two cents, stay away from the bra.

How did it ruin the paint? Was it scratched, faded or something else? My BIL has a Jeep Cherokee Limited and has had the clear bra on for a few years. He just added a new piece to his bumper and had to replace a piece of the bra and his paint was like brand new. Do you think your issue was due to the sh!tty soft Nissan paint?

Default Bra is needed!

I have put 20,000 miles on my Z and it looks like a BB fight broke out on my bumper! I too believe a bra is needed.

Same with mine, more craters than the face of a 16 year old fry cook at McDonald's I was going to respray the oem bumper but figured this is the time for a aftermarket f&r bumper and side skirts, which are now getting prepped at the body shop. Don't want to be in the same situation in another 20k miles. Figured the clear bra would be the answer as the black vinyl bra is fugly in my opinion but Kevin06v2 has me concerned

As long as you leave it on there should be no problem. Why remove it?

why would you need to take it off other than to say repaint the bumper. even if it ruins the paint, youre still no worse off than no bra and having to get your bumper repainted, i say go for it. plus itll look better with out the rock chips for whatever amount of time you have the clear bra on for.
