Am I the only one that wishes we had more than an hour to go back and edit our posts? Or even have the option to delete them? Some forums let you go back and edit whenever you want. At least 24 hours. 1 hour just isn't enough.

 

I think VB3 will let you do that.

 

It [the edit function] was set for a longer period of time awhile ago (not sure how long though, can't remember...), but people were putting up objectionable content posts and then retracting them before an admin/mod could delete and provide "strikes" to the offending posters. I remember that from a long time ago...

 

I'm not sure if I don't disagree with that. The whole point of giving them a strike is so they realize they did something wrong/offending, if they edit it...then they have realized this on their own.

 

Yeah, but it's a way to post stuff that warrants a strike before a strike can be given and then it can be removed. The poster gets to do/say what they want, and then take it off without penalty.
