Lately I feel like for every 10 posts that I read that only 1 is any good.

How about a "RATE THIS POST" option where forum readers can vote or rank a topics importance or attractiveness?

Perhaps the average rating could appear next to the Title?

Anyone else agree?

 

i just look at how many replies they have compared to views, although thats not always a good judge. But i know what you mean. Also sometimes even though a post isnot inmportant to me or you someone might be dying to get the info.

 

Do you guys not have the Rate Thread option at the top of the first post in a thread that also displays Thread Tools and Search This Thread dropdown options? I'm not sure b/c I have it, but never used it.

 

Never noticed that. Where does the rating show-up?

 

I've never used it, but I suppose that if the thread gets enough ratings that it might appear on the page that displays all of a section's thread titles....

 

Brian, it does, if it gets something like 5 it will show up on the thread list. Well, it did on vb2, i'm not sure if they made a column for it in vb3.
