Rididculous Post Getting Out Of Hand Again.....
I understand your frustration Mario but there's a few things that you're overlooking chap:
1) Until someone has bought a zed - they can't really offer any qualified advice or comments on the subject, so sometime all they've got to do to become part of this "community" is ask questions or get involved in chat type threads.
2) Forums survive on it's membership like so many other organisations - you can be nice to someone every day for a year, but p155 them off jus once and you risk them leaving forever .... no members = no forum
3) You're now taking subscriptions - once someone has stumped up the cash - they have the right to ask questions, chat and post utter drivel, or are you planning on offering refunds for those many members you plan to ban.
Just tellin' it like it is chap !!!!!!!!

Frankly, I don't think we care if newbies leave...most of them only stick around for a month or so anyway. Which leads me to believe that most of them will not become a premier member.
Thing is though, a newbie on this site might have clocked up 4480 posts or so, averaging a lowly 6.29 posts a day, on another site and happily shelled the cash to become a premier member but you treat them like a numpty just once and they just can't be arsed ....... it's your loss !!!!! But then you've just proved my point - even people with lots of posts can prove themselves a numpty !!!!!!
I'm soooo motivated to spend my cash with you now aren't I

Could be as simple as a pop-up window when someone hits the new thread button. "Have you performed a seach for this information? yes/no" No directs the member to the search menu. Just to act as a reminder for those new to the world of forums.

I could suggest some proxy servers out there to get around the filters, but I think you should hang-out here a little more often...
I don't mind sifting through all those useless posts. If you want to get technical, all of OT would then be useless, as well as Photoshop, and anytime anyone makes a thread to post a pic of the car.
These are all parts of an operating forum though. They will continue to be a problem, much like the people who feel the need to post in all caps or those who post so the beginning of every word is in caps or those who can't spell the title of their threads properly.
Remember, no one is making you click on them or read them.
