I Gave Up For A While But Now I Cant Even Come Here Anymore Cause I Have To Search Through 3 Million Ridiculous Post That Have Been Discussed A Million Times.....like, Should I Get Exhaust? Or How Do You Rate Your Boyfriend? Wtf?

Beleive Me...anything You Wanted To Know Has Been Discussed Over And Over. I Know Sometimes The Search Is Hard To Use. Ya Know Why? Cause People Make A Million Post Over And Over And No One Searches.

Does Anyone Here Agree? I Think Maybe We Can Come Up With Something To Suggest To The Moderators. Maybe A Big Note Somewhere Stating Some Rules To Posting. Maybe Like A Banner On Top Of Every Forum Page That Says "search First *****!"

 

I've discussed this with the other mods before...people will do what they want to do, no matter where you post the rules.

 

Yeah But The Rules Could At Least Be Bigger So You Can Actually See Them. No One Will Go Into A Thread To Read Them So Post Them Everywhere As A Reminder.

 

How about we vote on a thread being the "boner of the day."

Once a forum member gets 3 of these, he will be banned from the site.

can you assign certain senior members to ok threads before they are started?

Then they can give them a thumbs up to post or a thumbs down.

then you'd always have to have someone on duty (or make shifts) or the site would stall...

i like the "Boner thread of the Day" award -- instead of banning though, give them a retarded title (the size of the "premier member" tag), of course, then it might turn into some kind of contest

i keep posting the albinoblacksheep flash vid "Posting and You" in most of the repeat threads, but it might help if it was hardwired into the registration process or stickied... kind of a "you must watch this video on how we plan to survive an airplane crash (hahahahaha) before we take off" bit.

negative ghostrider, i know how to use tthe search, i was probably one of the other thread starters on those threads looong ago. you guys are missing my point. one said just dont read the threads. ok. so ill just sort through 100 of those to get to a meaningful thread! do you get what im saying. its easy to say just dont read them, i dont. But sorting through thousands of meaningless post is turning a well layed out board filled with good info into some sort of free for all filled with tons of bs!

 

so this thread is helping eliminate 1000's of useless threads how? i would think it is kind of adding to the problem......

 

Not too many "What exhaust is the best" threads in the feedback & suggestions sub-forum...
