Using Search function
Are there any tricks to using the search function in this forum to improve the false alarm rate?
I am used to other forums where you have a bit more control on the search phrase but this search seems to simply pick any word in your phrase.
Example:
I want to find info on the Best Tires.
So, I Enter best tires in the search engine and you get every page that has EITHER "BEST" or "TIRES" in it.
I have tried +best+tires as well as best AND tires as well as best+tires but it makes no difference.
I get a zillion results of the posts that have either of these words
Any ideas would be most appreciated

Try changing it so instead of searching every post, it only searches the title of the thread. Often times this will help to eliminate quite a few threads and will help narrow down your search to more useful information.
