I do wish that moved threads would not be displayed in the Forum in which they originated as "Moved: __________". I can tell when a Moderator comes on, because the entire first page is all moved threads.

Is it possible to have the moved thread completely dissappear from the forum it orginated on, once its moved?

 

Yes, but then the original poster and anybody else who posted in the thread won't be able to find it the next time they come back to the forum.

The "Moved..." lets everybody know that it went somewhere and just wasn't deleted.

I wish it stayed for like 24 hrs then automatically disappeared. Apparently it doesn't have the effect of giving some people a hint that messages posted in the wrong place get moved. Maybe they would post in the correct forum to start with and we wouldn't have to move so many.
