Suddenly I found "**Video** TT 350z vs. Evo IX" thread moved/deleted from the Video section. any reason?!

No it wasnt on the track. It was street racing video. I do see many active threads that contain street racing and was wondering why mine got moved/locked?!

 

did the Z lose? maybe that was the tipping point.

As for seeing threads containing street racing - the mods should be moving them off-line too.

 

As I said there are MANY street racing vids in the video section (that includes another vid of me racing a GT500 which surprisigly the thread is still active). my question is why my thread was deleted and others are still on?

 

They are probably working on deleting all, little by little....

 

some threads are more than 1 year old and still active, where mine was posted 2 weeks ago and got deleted. someone explain!

 

It's due to the death of street racing on this site. I'm sure if the mods come across other threads like it, they'll be locked.

Do I agree with it? No. But rules are rules.

I do understand that rules are rules. but if they want to apply the rules it should be on ALL threads not some!

honestly I dont care if they delete it or not, it was to entertain ppl nothing more. I wasnt aware that street racing isnt allowed but now I know. thanks for pointing me.

its simple.. you may catch some fish.. but not all fish.. your thread got caught.. others got caught.. others wont' get caught.. just the nature of the game.. as long as your thread violated a rule and got deleted.. then you shouldn't really be worried about its..

its the same concept as a State trooper pulling you over with a pack of 5 cars doing over the speed limit.. is it fair you got caught and the others didn't? no .. were you violating the rules? yes

 

haha your funny doug. its not that the video section is like 20 pages and the mods get lost on how to control it. the number of the threads there can be counted in your hand fingers. not a big deal I guess...

 

I don't see why you're making such a big fuss about this.

I was the mod that moved your thread. We mods do our best to catch all the inappropriate material on the forums, but we are only human. We are bound to miss some and catch others. Yours happened to be the latter. If you see more threads that go against the TOU, feel free to report such threads or send me a PM and we'll take care of it.
