Just because I have no idea........how come this server will "blow up" when other IB owned sites run this feature but don't seem to have the problems.
I know the previous owner GodZilla always used this as an excuse.......that the server will take a crap.

I think this site is one of the biggest site IB manages compared to other sites.

I wouldn't have turned it on if it caused a server "blow up"
As for our largest forum... its Honda-Tech, not to say my350z isn't big though!

Do you know Adrian what will keep your members even longer in the forums? "similar threads" options. Members will go from one thread to another. Just keep on jumping from one to another. It'll also add quite some load on your server.

There have been some problems with slow database for the last week or so. I suspect IB turned it off again to see if it helps with the problem.

The feature on a site the size of my350 blows head gaskets and throws rods...
Coolant was bubbling and performance was down, so we turned it off.
