Why will it take so long? There are actually very few posts on there without pics right? So, just select every post and unselect the actual picture posts. It shouldn't take too long, I see it's about 243 pages at full view, so it could be worse.

 

Yep- no select all option- you have to manually select each post one by one- There are currently 12,150 posts in that thread (and that's after he already deleted a good portion).

 

Hmm, Might want to get an admin in there for a quick minute. I can't imagine it's a new feature in the later versions of VBull.

I just checked and as an admin, I can select every post, and then unselect certain posts. I'll check to see if a mod can do it or not. brb

Edit: I guess it's a feature on the newer VBulls. Sorry.

 

Um, this might seem out of the blue because it's a product of a few different threads including this one and was originally posted elsewhere, but here it is for funsies:

I don't think this thread is gonna last until March... people are bitching about it already.

Excuse the **** out of the female members for thinking that they could have a thread discussing the guys in the lounge without having to delete it or hide it away in the girls section. I'm pretty sure the guys were the only ones saying anything insulting and if everyone who insulted someone else on here was banned, the forum would shut down. The arguments that it's too personal, that we should go play in our own section, that it's gay, that we're not including members, that we're rating people, that it's the same as the member photo thread, etc. DO NOT FLY! If anyone has a problem with this thread just don't submit your pictures and GTFO. Problem solved! If you want to be included, send a girl your pics and permission! It's not the member photo thread because the guys are giving their pictures to the females for us to enjoy. If it's moved to the girls' section, no one will send their pics and the guys won't be entertaining us with their posts. Not cool. Who says the guys can go leghumping all over the lounge but if we want a thread for it, it has to be in the girls section? If the thread is lame, it'll die down. Clearly, it is badass because it's going strong. Go be jealous somewhere else or join in the fun!!!!! Or go ahead and get our thread deleted and then see if anyone can figure out why my350z is such a sausage fest.

Oops, sorry dude... only the first sentence was meant for you - you are actually contributing something to the thread. The rest is me getting pissed off at the whiners who need to shut it or turn in their man cards.

Onedirtyz, if anything we'll just delete the thread or move it, if and when it's necessary. I don't think we want to take even more time merging and cleaning up yet another picture thread.

I guess you missed the "IF AND WHEN IT'S NECESSARY" part of the sentence.

All I'm saying is that the original intent of the thread (no matter how much try to spin it) was to post only the ones you (and whoever else is the judge) thought were "hotties."

The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the pictures are of our members, thus it becomes a bit more personal than random pictures of guys' ***, arms, chest, etc. (I'm not sure how many times I need to say this)

You can keep saying that the guys are being sexist, how we're trying to limit the ladies to only their sub-forum, how we have the ***/*****/gf thread, blah blah. The fact is, there's not one about the female members (yet or maybe I just haven't seen it) and probably wouldn't enjoy it if we were to create one.

Plus, nobody said any of our forums, less the Ladies Only forum, was gender specific. That means, if the women wish to start a thread about guys' asses, their biceps, or bfs, they can.

well.

the guys post pictures of their girlfriends and wives.. their GIRLFRIENDS and WIVES.. without most of the womens' knowledge. guys post pictures and videos of them f*cking girlfriends, ex wives, one night stands.. without these people's knowledge. as revenge. tell me.. is this not a little personal?
you're totally alright with the guys posting personal pictures of people... scandalous pictures, i might add.... without the subjects' knowledge or permission [most of the time].
but you're not ok with us posting pictures
a) that the guys themselves have posted in some sort of public forum, whether it be these boards, facebook, or myspace, and/or
b) that were sent specifically to us by these gentlemen for the express purpose of posting, and/or
c) for which we received permission.

may i just add that i think your argument that the men didn't give SPECIFIC permission to post their [forum] NAMES is just a tad silly..? i mean... a forum handle is a forum handle.. it's for purposes of anonymity.. it means pretty much absolutely nothing. there's little real information in a handle beyond what the person behind the name chooses to reveal in it. contrary to your belief i'm coming up with these arguments on the fly, i actually thought about this thread before i began it. i thought about the fact that many people are ONLY known by their forum handles by the majority of forum members. many people i know more personally have even asked me to not address them by their real names.. so it definitely makes more sense to go by what THEY chose to be identified as, rather than an actual piece of information, their real names.

the list i posted of guys whose pictures i had.. those are the only guys that i haven't gotten permission from. if you want to PM them and direct them to this thread and let them know what's going on, go for it. i'll happily take down any pictures anyone is unhappy about.

and shes right, we do post a lot of pics of our SO or GF's without asking them, so why should it be any different for her...

these pics were ALREADY posted anyways by guys on the forum, so shes just re-using them.

Nugga are you serious?!?! That thread has PLENTY of non pic posts. I believe you have to delete the posts one by one. there are over 10,000 posts in that thread.

 

Awwww... Lai-Lai. Don't get upset. I don't think anyone is suggesting you ladies be banished to your women forum. It's just that the man thread is basically the official member photo thread considering the percentage of male members on here.
