Default Regional For Sale Forum Enchancement Suggestion

I know not all the regions have their own For Sale forum. I have been hearing a lot of complaints from members from Mid-A that "Nobody really looks at the Mid-A regional For Sale forum). Now that is not an absolute true statement, but it is true that the traffic of that sub forum is not that high.

I have thought of an idea for enhancement that'd make our life much easier. Why can't each member be "registered" to a specific region? Obviously we can't allow a member to be registered to more than one region. Once we have that feature, sky is the limit.

One example would be.... Lets say I am registered to Mid-A. If I go to Marketplace and create a new thread (regardless of which sub forum I am in), It would automatically create a dynamic link in the Mid-A regional For Sale forum (Note that I said a link and not a separate thread). Now if the member creates a thread in the Mid-A regional For Sale forum, it should not show up in Marketplace since it means that the item is strictly for local pickup in Mid-A region only.

There are tons of advantages to do something like this. Please consider!

I read you entire post. This is the only part I don't quite understand.

The regional "for sale" might have less traffic, but it also cuts down on the flakey buyers that end up not having the money.

What I'm trying to say is people go into the "for sale" section for one purpose and not to BS around. I'd rather have a serious buyer then someone trying to waste my time.

In another word, if I'm registered as a Mid-A member, when I create a thread in the Marketplace, another thread automatically gets created in the Mid-A regional For Sale forum. But the two threads are actually linked together meaning if a person leaves a post in Marketplace, you'd see it in the same thread in Mid-A regional For Sale forum and vice versa.

Sorry I used the term dynamic link. That's a computer science term. I'm a nerd.
