Don't know if this has been discussed but how about having forums for Sponsors like CiNcity and others where clients and etc can post in one forum for each sponsor? And a private forum for those like CiNcity that have people that are not in house to discuss upcoming ideas and just info between people in the company?

And for the one that do not want their forum just make a general one on there where clients can ask questions about a vendor that isn't listed and post complaints if they want.

I'd rather it stay as it is..one centralized place for vendors to post items, people to ask questions. If you have a new item to post, you can post in the appropriate section already and you automatically have a larger audience via all the people that visit that particular vendor category (i.e. exterior, suspension, etc)
subforums, especially on a site as large as this gets really cluttered looking and very hard for customers to navigate IMHO. As for posting complaints, the site has a very good way for that to be done - vendor feedback. Lets the customer and vendor leave opinions of one another on a specific transaction basis without it becoming the inevitable ***** fest (as is prone to happen on this site).

We have discussed this- the problems are 1) the number of vendors and each having their own subforum would clutter up the forum 2) some vendors try out the site and don't get a good ROI. It's simply too much work at this point to add and delete new forums so frequently.
