Default searching for a phrase

it doesnt seem to work on this forum.

for example, i wanted to search for the phrase "standing mile" to see if anyone has been doing any standing mile events in their 350z.

however, the search returns any thread with a posting using either word standing, or mile.... which gives me 756 results none of which appear to actually contain the phrase that was given to search for.

there has to be a way to get the search engine to actually search for a phrase?

http://www.google.com/advanced_search?hl=en

Just type in the phrase in the phrase area, and under the domain type in my350z.com

I'm a member of a forum that won't allow you to search for 3 letter words, and that works every time.

I asked basically the same question and this was the suggestion I received, it
seems to work fine:

"Go to Advanced search. Put your phrase in quotes. Then switch search type from Natural Language to Boolean at the bottom."
