I think it would be 10x easier to making it mandatory to put a location for the larger items in the classifieds. Im looking at getting some new wheels, but I have to click through a handful of threads that are too far from me.

 

There's a for sale sub form in regional sections for a reason. Not to mention a wanted section as well.

 

too bad those that want to sell local only have to flood up the regular for sale threads if they will not ship. as mentioned above that is what the regional forums are for

 

A good suggestion but considering how hard it is to get people just to post in the correct forum in the first place, cosmetics like you're suggesting would be virtually impossible to pull off.

 

not really. stick a mod on it. it should take no more that 5-10 minutes to weed through them and put them where they belong. same with closing all of those old for sale threads from 3 years ago (or purge them)
