From my350z.com to this website . It redirects me while I'm navigating this site but no other site.. anyone know why?

 

Malicious entry in your hosts file? Do a malware scan with updated DAT entries and report back what you find.

So are you just clicking on links to different forums (like The Lounge) on this site and they go to the SwamiPredicts site?

 

Yeah I have a bookmark for my350z that sends me to the recent threads page.. it has been popping up when I click my bookmark, or am navigating the forums on this site. I am looking for a malware scan to run.. I have never done it before I have a mac so I don't know much about that kind of stuff..

Edit: It just happened again when I was on myspace so I guess it's not just my350z. I have no idea why it's doing this.. I reset safari, I haven't found a malware scan.. Hmm.

 

You know how on a mac you can set your 'hot corners' to do different things by moving the mouse into each corner of your screen? Well one of mine minimizes all windows so they are really tiny (thumbnail size) and displays them all on the screen. I just woke up and got on the computer and accidentally put the mouse in that corner and i had probably 100 of those windows open and my computer nearly crashed... wtf. I didn't go to any strange websites or click any links today/yesterday either.

Anna, this is a trojan. I will pm you how to fix it. A couple of my friends and I have been experimenting with new trojans for macintosh systems so I am pretty sure I know how to get rid of it.

not really, my friend wrote the trojan I have no real reason to share it publicly. I think its only a matter of time before someone figures out how to fix it then I will post it. AIM me if you want to discuss it.

 

 

It happens. He did not write it alone, it was time enough for somone to stick it to the mac fan boi's

yep anna you can have the solution just aim me or ring me ill help you out I left out an important step in the AG post but some people can prolly figure it out.

 

Well I'm not a premier so I can't see it there.

And Tor I'm not being cute and rebellious.. maybe that was my dad 16 years ago when my dad got us a Quadra =P. I think he even had one older than that haha. Never used anything but a Mac.
