Running ok for the moment, but I'd still like to complain.

Which link should we use at that IB website. There is no general contact email address (conveniently?) even though one of pictures that rotates at the top says, "Compliment, Criticize, Question, Contact"... but to where? All there is are contact links for partnerships, careers etc.

Rumor has it they doubled the monthly rates for vendors. We pre-paid for a full year, but we will lose alot of vendor who pay month to month.

WOW way to do it I'm so tempted to start a Z only forum and just have everyone join it with no buying anything. vBulletin forums are free and you only pay for the domain name and hosting which you can get at go daddy for 3 years for $49 bucks

vBulletin is not free, not legally at least. By the way, you are looking @ hundreds of dollars a month if you plan on hosting a site with half the amount of traffic that this one has. I can look into it, it may not be that much, but I guarantee you its more than 49 bucks lol.

Umm your talking to a graphic designer that designs and host sites daily. I have did over 40 forums some VB some not. And I can tell you the prices I have a site I did with a forum that has over 500K visitors a day and they don't use banners or anything had pay $40 a year for the hosting.

This site doesn't have that much traffic in the grand scheme of forums. Regardless, the performance of this site is pretty unacceptable as of late. I'm clueless as to a change of hands or the politics involved with this site but I've already started looking for other forums.

It's unfortunate, because this is a very good site for technical resources, but I'm not patient enough to wait 3 minutes for a page to load. I hope this gets sorted.

I'm also a graphic designer and have worked on various vB forums. Bro, I find it very hard to believe that a site with over 500,000 visitors a day pays $40/year. If someone can make that happen with this forum then all of the power to them. Also, www.vbulletin.com. vBulletin is not free, and if you use a cracked version, you will probably be shut down.
