I closed the thread at 5:23 pm CST and then I was notified by the IB personnel at 6:44 pm CST. You do the math and tell me which came first. Again, he was supposed to make a public announcement for all to see 2 days ago, which didn't happen, then he was supposed to make an announcement yesterday saying what was going on and with updates, which again didn't happen. I have no way to control what they do. I can only remind them. Don't shoot the messenger, buddy.

And as far as somebody copying then pasting information here to a competing forum then deleting the original here, it was mostly Mid-A guys, iirc. I don't recall who they were, but I know where they were from, which is why I wasn't able to just ban specific people.

I do understand, though, about being "in the dark." I will try to notify the entire community, but not all things apply to all, so you have to understand it won't always be a public public announcement.

Ok....not sure why you're getting upset since I have no clue when you would've been notified. Especially given their notice has no time associated with it as to when it was posted.

My point was I'm not sure I would've closed the thread until the update actually happened. Especially given things like this (delays) can and will happen.

You were complaining (as always) about how I closed your thread and didn't "realize they'd postponed the new date next week." So you assumed that I didn't bother to find out what was going on and just did things on my own accord, which is clearly not the case. So, I was just telling you that I closed it well before I was even told there was going to be a delay in the upgrade process. And maybe you would've done it differently, but you're not me. I do things differently than you.

You can't seem to leave the staff members alone, especially the admins who will respond to your questions. None of the other admins answer you, with regards to what is going on with the board (wonder why ). At least I take the time to tell you what's going on. I'm not claiming to be better nor perfect, so it is expected that I will make mistakes, forget certain things, or have my own delays in getting things done. Just let things be for a change. That's all I ask.

Don't agree with the above so we'll just have to agree to disagree......

After the upgrade you'll be able to do so.

You should already be able to edit your posts. I'm looking into your profile and see nothing that should restrict you from doing so.

I went ahead and closed the thread also.

what you might do is look up in the corner to make sure you are still logged in when you go to a new page. If you are no longer logged in (which happens in some areas) you won't be able to edit.

You're not allowed to close threads on your own anyway, but the editing should've been allowed. Oh, well, as long as you're able to edit most of your posts. Let me know if you have further issues.
