I'm at 1024x768 and I see a scroll bar and a small white box nect to it but no text...using a flat screen monitor (not that it should have any effect).

Correction, if I maximize the browser window then I can see the scrolling text.

 

its a cool way to do it, but I think its prlly best left out unless theres some sort of notice that is needed to be posted in a very prominent location.

This site has been a part of my daily web surfing routine for almost two years now. I've been through three look and feel changes, two owners and everything in between. But, this addition to the site has to rank as one of the most ridiculous, useless and annoying additions to the site yet. Can one of you sympathetic moderators remove it please?

Aha, I just saw what this is supposed to look like on my main PC, and I don't like it. It's a cool effect, but it's just way too distracting. And, believe me, I'm easily distracted.

heheheh, i put that up to show the head admin what i was up to since he was freaking out about all these changes.

it'll be used on really important messages.
