Is there a way for an Admin to see how many failed login attempts my account had last night? I tried to get in, and all my PW are saved on the Mac...so no typing. first attempt and it said something to the extent of "you've failed to login so many times that you must now wait 15 mins before attempting again"....which makes me wonder, "is some asshat trying to access my account?"

any ideas? Guess I'll change PW just for precaution.

 

I know some people were having problems with Mac software and the upgrade. Not sure if this is the problem.

Changing Password won't help you, because if someone were trying to log in under your screen name, they could still go through all the "failed login" attempts. Enough to temporarily suspend your account for 15mins...

 

We had a brief problem last night starting around 6:30pm with any users that hadn't clicked "remember me".
It was fixed around 8pm PST last night though!

 

This occured @ 9:12 Central last night.

I was able to do the exact same thing (type in address, then click login like usual) at 10:30 and it worked fine. not mac issue....

reason I considered changing PW, was mine isn't the most secure...but its terribly easy for me to remember. I figure if someone is attempting to get in, I should make it a little harder on them.

 

I thought someone hacked my account and changed the password, whew!

 

that happened to me last night to. I am on a mac and i got an email saying what ip address tried to login to my account and i think its me lol

 

neato, I didn't get any such email.
