I am having a problem with this site. (This has been happening for a long while, but I finally decided to try to adress it.)

Sometimes... when I go to the forums page, I see the notice for new posts (ie there are 234 new posts in 118 threads) but when I click "see new posts" there are either no threads, or just a couple of threads (VERY recent).

It seems like my last vist counter is being reset before I get the "get new" results.


1) Is there some way I can manualy search for posts in the last n minutes? Then I could re-find the most recent posts.

2) Can this problem be fixed?

This happens on several PCs with various connections. My windows XP system at work is running ie6 and is on a T1. My home machine is Win2K / IE6 / Cable modem.

Any help would be appreciated.
