Ok - we added a patch to the site for IE... I think it should be ok. Lemme know if there are any issues.

They need to recycle the site application pool. They are most likely using IIS 6.0. A very common error within IIS.

the 404 error does look like IIS .. i was hoping they were using Apache since the board is programmed in php and mysql

i saw... it seems that i only started experiencing it when i upgraded to IE8, but this may have only been coincidence... i have also read a few VBulletin blogs that say IE8 has issue (the same) with older versions / misconfigured VBulletin...
