Damn, this had to happen just as I got the ***** to pay up for PM. I literally clicked the link at the top of the board and I was like, "I am ****ing doing it today, damnit. This is it. I am goddamn ready for this baby." then it took me to Paypal and I read the text and then it all became;

I'd like to renew - have a ton in my PM Box - some that I'd rather not delete and have some thing fs in the market place- any way you can extend my PM until this is resolved? I'll paypal you the money to hold on to in the mean time if the money is a big deal.

Since this was an option, say 2004, I have re-upped every year and that included this extra storage. Since I can't give the forum my money, my Premier Membership benefits are now gone. I first found out when one of the mods tried to send me a PM (sorry Wired 24/7).
Now yes, I have had to go back through messages and cull enough to get under this total, it was a total PITA that I've paid 5+ years in a row to avoid dealing with deciding what I wanted to keep and what I didn't.
Not a solution. It's been over a week - how hard is it to fix a PayPal Merchant account?
Suggestion - offer a 2 or 3 year renewal, too. You get more money up front, we both win.

I personally own a buisness - and have to say I would have resolved this right away. What would it hurt to give those looking for a PM a temporary pass until it was resolved? What's even worse is having current members accounts expire send them a Renew now message and then drop there account because of a problem on the boards side!
Absurd - I may not renew.
