Sorry, but no.
Installing it on this site opens up a number of liabilities. Anytime a site opens its database through a third-party API, there is risk associated with it, and we simply cannot accept that risk. Beyond that, we need to have control over the branding of my350z, and allowing third parties access to re-publish and redistribute user content outside our control can be dangerous. While we assume that Tapatalk properly handles these issues, we still need to be sensative to them.
We fully understand the desire to interact with my350z through native smartphone apps, and I assure you that there is currently work being done to meet these desires. We hope to have more updates regarding this very soon.
cheers,
robb

Not really sure where to leave this sort of comment, but I guess here seemed like the best place. With that being said, I'm on the forums 99% of the time using safari on my iPhone. I really enjoy the mobile browser, for the most part. The only thing that I can think to suggest is that: when I am in a sub forum (i.e. Off topic/entertainment) when I hit the back button on the top left of the screen, instead of taking me back to the off topic, it takes me alllll the way back to the main page. Just a thought.

I know y'all have moved yalls focus to creating mobile versions of the other IB sites, and y'all said yall are working on a native app for mobile users. Does that have any foreseeable release date? Don't get me wrong though, I'm very pleased with the mobile version.
On a side note, I'm sure there will be forms of advertisement on the native app for generating revenue, but if y'all considered the option of making it a paid app, I would gladly shed a few bucks for a "pro" version without ads or something along those lines... Just food for thought

Just wondering if I'm just not finding it, but I don't see an option to view your subscribed threads on the mobile version of the site...
I see a "Get New" link which just shows you the newest threads/posts, but I can't find something similar to the "User CP" of the full site.
Maybe the mobile site doesn't have this, which would be sad, because I guess I'm expected to browse to each and every one of the threads I'm subscribed to to see if there's any replies?
Thanks gais.
Btw:
Motorola Droid 1
Android 2.2.1
Dolphin HD browser

I mean that's one of the most used pages on the actual website right? That's where you go check to see if anyone's replied in the threads you're following.
How can you even think about having a mobile version of a forum which lacks the ability to do that?

The User CP (subscribe threads) should be a no brainer though...

i typically use the "normal" version - but then things like forum tool and search functions don't work...
any update on this since it was, uhhhh, posted a year ago? mobile version is kinda terrible on my iphone - how do you get to the cp and you can't scale/click on images that are posted in a thread (making them useless)..

I wondered the same thing.
After trying to use the mobile version a few times I quit. There is not a good way to visit this forum on a phone. Until my350z is compatible with Tapatalk I will never come here unless I have a computer. If that's not important to IB so be it.
If advertising is the issue as to why they they don't use Tapatalk, then I say they need to rethink their strategy...
I rarely even/if ever click on ads while at my computer, with that said you can be 99.9999% sure I wouldn't click on an ad while on my phone. I'd actually be pretty pissed if the small screen real estate on my phone is taken up by a stupid ad. It would only push me away.
