They could, but they don't have to

You know that IB owns vbulletin right?

Keep in mind the Mobile Suite is for developers. This doesn't apply to users. In other words, sites that run VB can purchase this suite so their members can use a site specific vb app. I just downloaded an app for another forum that I'm on, it's great! Just as good as tapatalk. I'm sure the my350z version of this vb app will be available soon!

For other forums, smaller sites, the vb suite doesnt make sense because of the cost. I personally would rather use tapatalk for my members.

I found that if you make a shortcut on your phone that points to:

https://my350z.com/forum/usercp.php

It'll take you to the Control Panel. I'm baffled as to why whoever designed the mobile site didnt make that an option from the beginning, instead of putting a link to the "New Posts"

The current mobile app was just made as a temporary solution. The new vb app is gonna be sweet once it's ready for my350z.com. It's very robust and as user friendly as tapatalk.

Go to your market and do a search on "vbulletin." A couple other forums have already purchased the suite. You can download the app for that specific site to check it out for yourselves. The one nice thing is the app is free for users.

Well I'm sure it was a temp solution but something as simple and important as the UserCP was forgotten.

I'll download it and hopefully someone contacts IB and lets them know we're waiting on this app.

There is no need to contact IB. They are rolling out this app on their forums. Not sure the cue for my350z though. 6speed online for example already has the app ready to go.

Well, we are more important than 6speedonline.

In time, in time. Glad to see it being released.

There is no need to download the vBulletin app. It is simply to showcase their app to vbulletin forum owners. The forums themselves will have the option to get a copy of the app, apply it to their forum, and sell it in the app store as their own app, like my350z app as opposed to vbulletin app.

At least that's what I've gathered from their description in the app store. I'm ready for my350z to get this launched

Your description of the app is correct. To re-iterate, each vb forum needs to have their own app. Sites can either choose to charge for the app, or allow users to DL for free. Personally, I'm going to stick with tapatalk on my own forums. The cost for doing this is $199 for a forum owner (intro price), and then $299 after intro ($200 setup fee + $99 annual). Too expensive for us small timers! I just hope IB doesn't figure out a way to disable tapatalk so we have to use their product......

Why does IB own forums?

That's so weird.

Does it bother you guys that when there is 5 pages, you cannot skip to the last one? or choose page 4? you have to go page by page. I use the mobile version when I'm on edge and it takes long time.

Is there any way we can change that? maybe do like a regular forum or as google does for their pages?

Yes it does. The mobile site is very limited. Period.

Major + a lot!!!
Sometimes it gives you the option of at least going to the last page, but going page by page sux *** for wooden nickels. Why does it not give you the option every time?
